Story 342
This website is not easy to search but if you take five mins to randomly click on old stories, you will be amazed at what you find. The headlines are about discrimination, retaliation, careers derailed, and institutions that abused their power, of course.
But they are about something bigger and more profound: They are about women who keep going.
Women who built careers, raised families, mentored colleagues, cared for aging parents, volunteered in their communities, and somehow continued to believe that hard work and integrity still mattered—even after being treated as though they didn’t.
I’m struck by their resilience.
Not because they were obligated to have it. Quite the opposite.
Many had every reason to become bitter. Many lost jobs they loved, careers they had spent decades building, financial security, confidence, even their health.
To all of you: I hope one day we build workplaces that deserve you.
P.S. Here are the stories that struck me when I took five mins to randomly click around: 24, 40, 90, 94 & 101.
