Asset management vet of 30 years. For most of my career, I’ve worked with men who are supportive and professional, which made it difficult for me to relate to the #metoo movement, which in my view was mostly about sexual harassment. (Not to say one’s not due for financial services but it’s not my thing.)

What’s different here is the exposure of double standards in professional conduct and expectations. Being subjected to a constant recalibration of “be direct—no, not that direct” is not just exhausting it’s infuriating.

Well done to the women who made this space – even though I don’t know you I feel like I do.
