Story 204

Warm congratulations to the women behind this site. In addition to giving the voiceless a place to be heard, you have also succeeded at a certain bank being so paranoid about what could be posted they have a team of lawyers and compliance personnel hitting refresh ten times a day. What stories are they worried about? Oh, I don’t know – I’m just an EA. Maybe that the U.S. gov’t gives incentives for them to keep payment rails open in Afghanistan so that they can funnel money to the Taliban or perhaps that a senior executive knocked up a colleague while she was married to another colleague while he was the boss. It could be anything at this point and it’s very entertaining for us staff.

My female relative worked at Citi as a managing director. When she was hired, she was filled with excitement and eagerness to make an impactful improvement within her division. When accepting the job offer at Citi, her hope was the culture would be making at least an effort to shift away from the “good old…
