Story 400

I am a regular “reader” of this site, and, per the Editor’s plea, wish I could contribute a story that wasn’t about Citi. Unfortunately, despite working at other major banks, nothing compares to the dysfunction and torment that I experienced at Citi. I suspect people reading these stories find it hard to believe unless you’ve worked there, at which point you will feel everything I’m writing in your physical body because that’s where abuse lives.

I also want to make a comment about Jane Fraser’s quick abolishment of DEI, which has been discussed here. I believe it’s a gift that she so readily abandoned these goals. They were clearly always performative for her so bless the fact that her hand was “forced by Trump”: Now we know her true colors. She cannot hide. I agree she will try when the political winds inevitably change but she will have to own it. The abandonment of principles will be her legacy.
