Story 63 – Non-threatening ‘token’ women who will play the game = tale as old as time!!
I’ve witnessed the women who flirt, don’t stand up for other women, don’t have an opinion and consistently pacify the men as they twiddles their hair and walk around looking ‘busy’ but don’t do much. They give women a bad name and frankly allow open the door to the behavior we see in all of these stories – JP Morgan Equities and Citi potentially the worst.

I left the industry when I realized the men around the table only wanted me if i organized client social events and executed admin tasks while they did ‘big boy business’.

To the Queen who wrote Story 246: As a lifelong “short short” essay obsessive, you nailed it. The art form asks the writer to do less so the reader can feel more. Excess is forbidden; every word carries weight, every sentence must move the idea forward or deepen it. What’s left unsaid is the point….
