Story 98
I was pregnant and was the only person to have ever been pregnant at the dba that I worked at under Northwestern Mutual. I was told that there was no maternity leave policy and while helping my boss with something on his computer I found a folder with all of the dates of my doctors appointments and absences due to being sick. I had 5 in the whole year while others took weeks at a time (we had unlimited PTO which was unlimited for others but very limited for me). I also found out that he consulted with an employment attorney to find legal ways to let me go for being pregnant. The only other woman there of child bearing age had been very clear that she never wanted to have children.
